Established in January 1948 with the
purchase of a second hand Pontiac ambulance in Claymont,
Delaware on July 1947.
Today however,
the town of Bridgeville is serviced with two large Horton
International ambulances.
Volunteers
cover the town of Bridgeville 24hrs/7days a
week.
Bridgeville VFC also
employees two full time paid EMT's. Each employee works a 4
days on/4 days off, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
